Snapball uses a snap on/off velcro that is easily removed. One 25mm diameter velcro is left under the notebook and another on the half ball. The snap velcro is 1mm thick and when removed does not leave stain or mark. Designed for frequent snap on/off action and can be left attached under notebook when place in a bag.

Postball uses a silicon base surface that post on and peel off from under the notebook surface. It does not need an attachment under the notebook but they need to be removed each time the notebook is move from one place to another. Postball users typically need to dock their notebook at work. The heat plus weight of the notebook keep the Postball fastened under the book while you work.
